All companies without offices in the UK or in any EU or EEA state must appoint a UK/EU Representative under applicable data protection laws if you:

monitor the behaviour of individuals in those countries (e.g. tracking or profiling)

The EU/UK Representative acts as a local contact for data subjects and supervisory authorities in relation to issues arising from the processing of personal data. We provide you peace of mind by providing you with an experienced data protection representative. Our services cover all legal requirements of article 27 of the GDPR and the UK GDPR including personal support, and a direct contact for data subjects and for enquiries from data protection supervisory authorities.

In February 2024, if your business is providing services to EU consumers as an internet access services, cloud services, online marketplaces, rental and travel platforms, search engines, app stores, social networks, content-sharing platforms, or other access, caching and hosting providers, you will be required to have a legal representative and point of contact under the EU’s Digital Services Act.
